What's In A Software "Update"?
I suspect most of us have patched a router or a computer with a "firmware" or "software" update and usually before we apply the update, if you choose, you can go to the manufacturer's website and read the "change log" to make sure you are ok with the fixes as well as just knowing what gets fixed in a particular patch. Anyone know if GM publishes the details for each "update"? My car took an update last night, first one since I've owned it, and I'd really like to know what they "fixed" or "updated". Anyone? TIA!

Mines a 2020 as well the updates no longer give description or detail so haven't done one in over a year.

Having problems with my C8 Z510 since I did my 1st update. Has anyone have any issue?
Do you know what update it was and have you had any issues ever since I did that’s for 60 minutes update my car’s been having a lot of problems

@SaC8Z51 I saw your post in another thread too. I'd like to know:
1) Did it really take 60 minutes? A lot of updates say they can take up to 60 minutes but I never had one take even 5 minutes on my C8.
2) You say your car is having a lot of problems. How many is a lot, what are the problems, and did they just start when you did the update?

Yea, they should publish a list by update number with a description of what they do (or are supposed to do). I have one update with the same number listed as updated on two different dates.
