I went from a C6, Z51, A&A S/C, installed at A&A with 595 RWHP to a stock Z51, C8. While I miss the mid range and top end power of the S/C C6. I love the way the C8 hooks up. I will admit I wish the C8 had another 50 HP which would really help the top end. l can't complain about a 495 HP car turning low 11's. HP is addicting and even at 550 HP we would still complain. I think the problem is that we get used to the power and want more!

Well of course the car is going to feel slower when you're used to cars with 200+ more rwhp lol. But just coming out and saying "this car is too slow" sounds pretty ignorant and can easily be a con to someone new who hasn't driven one and is thinking about buying one. The car feels slow to you because you're used to having 700+ rwhp. That doesn't mean the car *is* slow when comparing apples to apples against other stock NA cars.
He clearly said, "To me, this car.is just too slow". A lot of us know of him through his posts on this forum. He has talked about his cars many times. So naturally from his perspective it is "too slow". He didn't make a general statement; he made a statement versus his own cars.

Saying "To me this car is just too slow" without any context is making a general statement. He didn't clarify his position on why until his reply to me. Had he led off originally by saying "The c8 feels slow to me, but that's because I haven't driven a sub 700 rwhp car in a long time" or something like that, then I would have understood.
I'm just waiting on Cam Motion to get me my cam. We have to use a stock cam core to start with, which they say is back-ordered for another week or two. The West Coast Cylinder Heads CNC ported heads, LPE Carbon intake manifold, and Ceramic Coated ARH headers are all sitting in my office.
The timing may not be the best as Melissa and I are going to Norway, Sweden, and Finland for 3 weeks in mid-July for our 34th Anniversary, Jesse can certainly do it while I'm gone, but I actually want to do it myself. I want to spend some time mocking up some supercharger brackets etc. while the motor is out.
Happy early anniversary to y’all! Safe travels, looking forward to your results.

The context was his screename for me, did you know who he was?
Trifecta hasn't cracked anything. They made an insane claim that they have, and then have been radio silent ever since, showing no proof or answering questions about it. I call 100% complete and utter bullshit on their claim.
Have you actually contacted Trifecta about it? Or are you buying into the headline module holding them back mumbo jumbo too?
Jokes aside, they've been talking to a lot of people in the C8 market, they'll probably talk to you, too...
What's your dyno hp to the wheels? Just looking into things that may be worth doing on mine on top of my bolt ons.
I don't know. I just got back from Europe last night. When I got to my shop this morning, all my parts were there. The cam was the last thing to come in.
I just have to see when we will have time to drop the motor.

Andy - Is there any flow data on the heads? Were the heads decked?
Thanks, Bill
No, I don't have flow numbers. I can say, however, that I have worked with Richard at West Coast Cylinder heads for over 25 years. He spends countless hours on the flow bench before finalizing a port design. I absolutely trust that his port is about as good as it can be for the intended purpose. They were decked .030".
We'll see what this whole package does. as soon as I can get to it.
EDIT: I sold the car so I never got to try all the parts. The parts are all listed in the parts for sale section at substantial savings.
