So what makes your C8 a Stingray R? That usually implies that you have the Stingray R appearance package from GM (which you don't). Anyway, If it is a Z51 you might look at the Carbotech low dust pads. They're here on the forum. If it is not a Z51 then you shouldn't be having much of a dust problem.

The car hasn't been prepped through PDI yet.

Check out PowerStop Z26 pads. I had them on my C7 Z51 and loved them; they'll be added to my C8 Z51 eventually.

That small rear caliper is your parking brake.

A forum member will be here any moment with a page long post with misinformation about the z26 pads and anecdotal experiences that are hand picked and disregard any negative cold bite experiences with carbotechs and all apply to cars what don't have brake by wire sytems. Ignore it.

There are powerstop z26 pads that have low dust and will work well even in back to back spirited driving and come with high quality hardware.

There are hawk ceramics that don't reduce the dust as much as they claim to at all but a relatively effective pad.

Theres carbotech 1521 that also have ceramic in them and reduce dust quite a bit but not as much as the z26 and they also do not hold up to as much heat.

Pick your poison.

The picture above... That's why it doesn't have the front splitter, Stingray R decals, etc. You can also see some of the shipping protection wrap had yet to be removed.

There is an option (I think called Power Stop) that is less expensive, or the CarboTech 1521's for the Z51. They are mentioned and compared on other threads here. I have no personal experience with the Power Stop's but I replaced my OEM pads with the CarboTech. Greatly reduced the dust problem and still have great stopping power.

Love your car with the Stingray R package installed. I have a Rapid Blue 22 C8 and ordered it with the same package, but it didn't ship with the car and I am still waiting for it to arrive at the dealer.

I’ve used Powerstop Z26 pads on another car and liked them, both in braking and dust reduction. I intended to put them on my C8, but they were back ordered for months so I put a set of Carbotech 1521 instead.
The Carbotechs cost a fair amount more than the Powerstops but work well and have much less dust than the factory Brembo pads.
Whichever you get, you should be satisfied.

I'm another vote for the Carbotech pads, been using them on my last 5 Vettes.
