Default Launch control problem

After driving to the drag strip yesterday my coolant temp was 205 and oil temp was 210. I couldn't hear any fans running and when I got to the starting line launch control would not work. RPMs only coming up to 1500. All settings were correct it just wouldn't come up to 3500 RPM. Would the high temperature cause this problem. Any help appreciated.

I've had this problem before but it wasn't related to temps. There's 2 things that would usually cause this:

1.) Not pressing the brake hard enough. I've heard some people have to mash it with a lot of force almost like it feels like your foot is gonna go through the floor. I haven't had this issue
2.) Not being quick enough to rev after you switch to race mode. This was my issue. Once you turn the dial on the center console to race/track/sport/whatever, you have to *quickly* press your foot on the brake and rev it. Otherwise it will stick at 1500.

205 and 210 aren't "hot." Those temps shouldn't cause any problems with anything. The thermostatically controlled fans don't even come on until ~ 230F.

I dont think you have to be quick to rev after getting into the mode. I've driven with launch control on and used it a half hour later. I do agree you must press the brake hard snd be quick to stab the gas pedal to the floor, you also must have the steering wheel straight.

A couple times it hasn't worked for me in z mode and I put it in track and it works correctly. Just gonna use track from now on if I need to bring my inner hooligan out.
