Default C8 Hacks

I thought it would be interesting to know what others are doing to make things easier or better after I did this:

on my 2022 Z51, installing the rear brake cooling ducts one piece at a time, attach upper with three bolts, attach lower half, repeat other side and reverse for removal. Why not leave them assembled and attach/remove with the three bolts? Here what I did…

This is what I've done also. But I seal the hole up with metal heat tape that I use on my wheel weights so it keeps all the air in. Still wish someone would make a solid direct one piece.

Great minds think alike...lol Did the same thing on my '21 C8 Z51, duct taped the hole.

I did this as well. Bought half inch plastic plugs at the hardware store.

The real hack is leaving the top part of the brake duct attached to the car for normal use.
