Good afternoon all... I've seen some runs of the "world's fastest n/a C8" and have been pretty impressed. They are stating they are running a partial tune, halltech intake, soler t/b, and in house ported intake.... anyone know what the partial tune is and how they do it? They are advancing timing and shutting off the v4 option... Here's a video for reference....
Well I know this car personally because Carlos runs this car at our drag strip in Florida. Having said that this particular car has no tune and it's all bolt-ons. C8s can't be tuned.

I run at Bradenton myself.... but I spoke to Carlos on Instagram and another guy on YouTube. He mentioned they are attempting to tune the car do have a partial tune on this car.
What car are you running at Bradenton? I also spoke with Carlos only regarding ported intake manifold. Okay I have a C8 base model HTC very first pass 11.29@121 bone stock. But again the C8's can't be tuned. Like he said...he's working on it. I will be back out in Bradenton this fall coming.

I was running my 2019 Mustang with roush blower....best of 10.3 at 134.... haven't run the c8 yet.... waiting for good air.
He mentioned that was before his partial tune.... I'll be interested to see what he runs now. When you ran your 11.2, what was the temp and DA.... I try not to go to Bradenton when it's super hot out with bad DA....
I can't recall the DA exactly maybe around 1000 temperature low 70s. I really want to line up with a Z51 just to see the difference. Oh my 60ft was 1.684. And the c8 next to me ran a 11.21@121 60ft 1.64. That was a base model coupe.
The only way to tune these cars is to use a piggyback. MoTeC, Fueltech, (there's also a kit from Peitz), etc. And that's not really tuning the car itself it's tuning the piggyback ECU and tricking the car to use that under certain conditions, which could be considered "partial tuning." To my knowledge, Carlos is not running a piggyback but it's been a little bit since I've talked to him.
Trifecta came out awhile back and made a claim that they can native tune the c8 but that is complete hogwash. They made one post and have gone radio silent since. No proof, no nothing other than their word from a month or two ago, so that pretty much tells you all you need to know about them as a company.

Incorrect. Its going to be a while before you see more information about it though.

Let me know trhe next time you head out... I have a z51...
What I'd like to know is how the heck are all these mods not throwing codes. Headers with high flow cats... no CEL. Significant intake mods... no air flow errors. Something has to be going on or this new GM computer went to the next level of adaptability.

The c8 comes with a wideband o2 sensor natively. This gives the computer the ability to self tune basically to compensate for things like airflow and fueling... to an extent.
A lot of people here showing their lack of maturity. Sad. I’m a retired racer. Details do count. Won two championships by using the details (motorcycles).

Your comments about Trifecta sure didn't age well.

Have been watching the Procharged cars on dynos and track. Doesn’t look good so far. So, Trifecta is doing well … from the start ? I’ll say NO.
I still have my Procharged C7 and after my Florida tuner stated hell NO for adding a Procharger to my incoming C8 … something is going on.
Trifecta … ???!??? What are they doing well ??
