The GM approved screens require removal of the front bumper to install. Also per GM instructions if Tracking when it's over 90 degrees you must "remove the screens. They have an open are between the two sizes offered by Custom Car Grills. What you posted does not show the honeycomb opening size. Hard to tell is will work and sounds like for whatever reason coolant of a Z06 requires no obstruction if above 90F.
Very good, my friend. It sounds like you've really thought this through. I would love to hear from you how it all went: install and what you experienced once you've driven the car around with the grill screen guards. I won't ever track my car but I fell that the guards will just help keep unwanted debris from ruining the radiators. Best of luck, please keep in touch.

I installed AC Condenser screens soon after I got my 2020 C8. I plan to get an E-Ray that has the same rad configuration as the C8 Z08. The GM approved system for the C8 Z06 (and would be the same as the E-Ray is: 1) expensive and 2) required removal of the front bumper. My plan is to install the side protectors as I did my 2020 C8. The cost of a 16" X 48 inch 1/4 inch mesh is $69.

There is enough left to easily do the center C8 Z06 and E-Ray rad. BUT how to gain access is the issue. Can I make it in two parts and squeeze then in from the side- don't know. Hope a C8 Z06 person finds out!

Here is a How To PDF: http://netwelding.com/CF_Splitter.pdf
It's 15 pages of detail install pics and long captions

Center rad in E-Ray, same as C8 Z06. The Scrape Armor three piece screen says the front bumper must be removed to install this center rad protector. Don't know what can be done to install a mesh protector without removing the bumper. Can I cut in two pieces and fit in from the sides???
