Mcleod friction plates

Few vendors are selling these rebuild kits. Mcleod claims 1000hp ...

Is anyone actually using this ? Do they work ?

A local shop has installed them in a C8 that they Procharged. They do work.

Just following up, have they beat on the car much since and curious if any issues with driveability?

I'll check with them after the holidays. They are taking some time off.

I can tell you that they said that the car drives better than stock. This C8 was back in the shop last week when I was there getting the Procharger upgraded from stage 1 to stage 2.
