Hi everyone! I want to buy an aftermarket wing that actually works on track. I've done some searching, the manufacturers make some good looking GT style wings, Victor Racing, LG Motorsport, Streethunter, APR Performance.
I don't want to lose control of the car on the track and wouldn't unilaterally trust the test results they post, does anyone have any experience with these wings?
Appreciate for any thoughts and suggestions! Feel free to discuss these parts.
(I know Verus make great wings, but I don’t like the look of it cause it’s shorter than c8.)
P1 apr performance
p2 streethunter
p3 victory racing
p4 LG

Reason: Update info
Hi everyone!
I like track car, but I don't like the GM high wing and want an aftermarket spoiler that really works.
I found a c8r style spoiler from victor racing and it looks fantastic, They claim it makes the car more stable, but they haven't released any test data and I wouldn't trust them too much.
Does anyone have any experience with it? Appreciate any ideas.
The victor racing stuff is junk. If you want something that is meant for the track i'd suggest going with an LG Motorsports wing or Verus Engineering, these options are proven.

not to derail the thread, but I am also interested in the LG Motorsports or Verus wing…I noticed your LGM has an option for spoiler delete? What is that exactly and are there any pics?

It looks like the LG wing creates too much downforce cause it's too huge, I doubt it will make the 495hp C8 slower on lap time.
Verus wing make more reasonable downforce, but it looks incongruous with c8 cause the wing is shorter than c8.

"too huge" & "too much down force".... both the wings you have mentioned are adjustable.
here is a pic of the "too huge" of a wing in action...

I don't have any real world experience🥲.
But according to LG motorsport, the wing should be used with lg's front splitter to balance downforce.
The splitter is not adjustable so if I don't want to change the feel of the turn, the wing should be adjusted to the default angle.
That's why I think it will make too much downforce.

i have no experience, but out of curiosity, why do you say it's junk?

VR's big push is their active aero product. Of the 3 that i know have been installed they all malfunction on track because the components used cant stand up to track duty, after a lap or 2 the module overheats and the components lock up and dont work.
They used to use a lot of fake accounts on Facebook to spam car groups with posts like "Look how cool this wing is, i cant wait to get one for my car"; the antics of the company are not genuine and the product is crap.
