Aside from putting trans in manual to have all 8. Is there a way to bypass this function and have all 8 cylinders all the time without having to put trans into manual?
Not concerned with fuel economy.
I also understand some of you say don't feel the difference. You just may drive in a way to where it doesn't matter to you.
However, for those of us who race, we can feel delay in throttle reaction time.
For those that do race, select the mode that best enables the desired performance for your particular type of racing. If racing to the golf course to make your tee time, consider selecting other than weather / touring mode.
If your only concern is when you are racing then put it in Track mode. AFM is locked out in track mode as well as when using Z-Mode with engine/shift set to track.
Manual mode, track mode or Z mode with the track mode settings. I did see where someone has an OBD plug coming out that might do it. Forgot the name though.
