Default Front lift system unavailable

I recently had the front lift unavailable and service front lift message come up for a 2022 C8. Unfortunately it happened at the worst time possible and scrapped the front splitter pretty good. I took it to my dealer and they told me battery was low so they replaced it and that they had to flush the fluid for the lift system. I think they said that might be a new service bulletin. They were able to get me a rental car so fingers crossed. My C8 is eight months old with 3900 miles.

Not sure I believe front lift problems because of a low battery, but as long as the battery replacement and other work was paid under warranty I guess it doesn't matter.

Had it happen leaving a CVS where car was in lift mode got on it turning into traffic. I think it confuses computer. Got home disconnected the battery for 15 min. Restarted car all cleared hasn't happened since. Just happened to a friend 2 days ago. He didn't disconnect battery restarted next day all cleared.
If lift is up and you make an aggressive start while turning it seems to get confused.
Don't know why they would flush fluid other than to charge GM

Not sure why I needed a new battery or that it tested low after eight months? And how is there water in the lift system fluid? I was thinking It could be electrical or it could be the motor? The only time I saw a low battery light on the dashboard is when I was in the driveway watching the PDR for less than two minutes.

After I did an update for accepting future updates on my 2021 "Service front lift" message came up and the system did not work. I did a reboot: Started car, turned off engine, opened drivers door for 90+ seconds, closed drivers door and started car. The messasge cleared and the front lift system worked perfectly. I would try a reboot first, before disconecting the battery. The reboot will also work with the blank screen issue.

Yesterday i installed a NoviStretch bra. All went well until I tried the ground cameras and front end lift. The cameras were hazy as expected but the lift was unavailable. I emailed NoviStretch asking if they had heard of any problems. Prior to getting the return message I remember I had been starting in stealth mode as I leave early and try to keep the noise down. I started and switched to tour mode and the lift operated normally. NoviStretch got back to me with this post so I thought I would pass this fix on. You need to turn the wheels both ways to install the button clips.

GM authorized Rydell Chevrolet to install a new module and my front lift works like new again. My splitter was damaged and scratched and GM is going to replace that as well.

I had the same front lift problem and Rydell finally pinned it down to a faulty strut. Replaced the strut and has been good ever since. Donnie is the best.

i know what is your problem. Gm have wrong software in some year and vin. I have this trouble. I managed to cope with this problem only by programming the ECU from another vin code and another year. Then I changed the vin and did the authentication.
my calibrations get stuck when writing.

K218 module wrong software
