Bought my car used and it didn't have that front lift nose option. I found some used OEM front lift nose system for sale on ebay and I wanted to purchase and install it. Can it be done with plug and play or what does it take to get it done? have anyone done this before?
I can't speak definitively - I'll leave that to others who have more knowledge than me - but my guess is no, it won't plug and play. Looking at attempts for other options like NPP exhaust on a NON-NPP car, I'll bet the wiring doesn't exist and the computer won't recognize it or let you store locations. GM is funny that way - if you didn't buy the option they don't want to let you install it.

In the other thread, also started by the OP I think, one person reported doing it by getting the original shocks but adding an aftermarket pump and a wireless remote. Another provided a link to site for an aftermarket set up. I would not consider either approach to be "plug and play". Both will be costly. And neither one will provide the OEM functionality. I have the front lift and would get it again. But here's the thing. I have scraped, because I failed to recognize a dip and activate the lift. I scraped the lower edge of the Z51 splitter. To see the damage I have to put my head on the ground and look up. Its not otherwise even visible, and it is minimal. Furthermore, the standard Z51 front splitter is cheap - well under 200 dollars. The point is, you have to see the obstacle to use the front lift, and if you can see it, you can also avoid it or take steps to go over it in a way that the car will not scrape. And if you scrape, its typically not a big deal.
You may be able to add the pump, lines, and shocks, but you won't have that feature in the software.
It is not plug and play, not like adding a USB drive to your windows PC. The car is not going to know the hardware is there.
