I intend to go to the drag once every month or two. Maybe 3 ha. Do a lot of street pulls.
Do you guys recommend I throw some drag radials on a pair of stockers I got and use at track and on street from time to time as I drive only 200 miles a month. That way I get use most all the time. Or should I purchase a set of rims and drag tires? Which is more costly and puts more strain on drivetrain launching.
I am running 315 40R 18 Nitto 555g2 on the rear. It’s a regular street tire. They also make a drag radial 555 R2 but they were on back order when my welds came in. I’m switching to a drag radial very soon. 26x6.00 18 on the front. I’ve heard 28’s will rub. Hope this helps.
