Default Corsa quality issues: code P12EA

I just installed the Corsa 21100 system that retains both NPP and AFM functionality. The first X-pipe was formed poorly and had to be replaced, which Corsa did promptly. The electrical connector for one of the NPP valve actuators was a poor fit, and a day after having the dealer relearn the system I have code P12EA (Cylinder Deactivation Exhaust Flow Valve Closed Position Bank 1) which I did not have before the relearn. There are no obvious operating problems.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

I can see the AFM valve linkages from behind the car. Can anyone tell me what position they should be in on start up? I'd like to see if both or either are moving/getting commands from the computer. On start up both appear to have the linkage in the same position (high). If only bank 1 is malfunctioning they should operate differently from each other.

Looking at the old valve, the high position is full-open. It seems odd that the code suggests the valve is closed when it is not, or at least not stuck

Might need to do the relearn again. The Vette tech at my dealer had to do it three times before it took. Also, the relearn has to be done in a specific sequence for the AFM and NPP. GM document ID 5406413 covers this.

My dealer had to do the relearn procedure twice on my Borla exhaust. Apparently one of the new valves was a little "sticky" until exercised for a while. Corsa might be the same.
