With my local Autonation Dealer and the 20% discount, it's cheaper than Rock Auto, which is hard to believe. Going through https://parts.gmparts.com/ there is no shipping as the parts just go through normal GM shipping channels and end up at dealer, where I pick up. I do have to pay tax though.
Another thought has come to mind. Let's assume I use all GM parts to put in the transmission cooler (passenger side rear cooler) and the driver side oil cooler (A09?). Would that void my warranty?
If you are concerned with the gm warranty, modding a car is probably not in your best interest. IMO
I totally hear what you are saying, But if I mod with all GM parts, as GM specifies, do I have an argument? I want a C8 Grand Sport. Standard 490ish HP motor (more than enough for me), Z06 suspension, Brakes, Cooling, wider aftermarket wheels and tires. I can do it with GM parts.
Tampering with oil system would very much likely void the warranty in my opinion, whereas you would have an easier way explaining an additional radiator. Besides, with 4th radiator, you not only help engine oil, but also the transmission oil temps, which is even more important considering its vulnerability at higher temps.
You're probably correct. I'll have to chew on this a bit. I'd hate to have a transmission issue declined if it came up.

First, thanks for your thread on the left side radiator add! I agree with your point but C5RACR1 has a point about GM. I guess it would all depend on the GM rep who could approve or disapprove a warranty claim.
so c5racr1 and myself put a little bit of research into it.
the trans cooler is water cooled.
in the Base car the line from the water pump ( which is on the front part of the engine ) is not plumbed to accept the third radiator. Unfortunately, it is a hard line. In order to swap it out it would require removing the AC condenser which isn’t something I wanted to do.
So what I’ve ultimately settled on is that I’m going to plumb in the z51 aux radiator directly to the DCT cooler lines and just remove the thermostat so that it runs wide open all the time.
that being said I don’t street drive this car at all other than to the gas pump sometimes from the track.
additionally while I’m doing this I’m also going to source some more high performance radiators for the front of the car.
I overheated the trans twice today after about 20 minutes on a 80 degree day.
If there is no traffic and I have clear track it’s fine. But if I hit traffic for even a 1/4 lap the temps climb fast
I wanted to ask about this. I looked at the parts diagrams for both the base and the Z51 with the right-side transmission cooler. It looks as if the main hard line from the base car is replaced with one with a couple of T's in it that go to the radiator. @allblackeverything I'm curious about your comment that the water Pump isn't plumbed for the 3rd radiator and the condenser needs to be removed. Can you expand a bit on it?? It seems that the Z51 hard pipe would just replace the base car pipe but maybe not.
In looking at the parts diagram for the Z51 setup, once the thermostat opens, it allows coolant to flow into the radiator. Would it be fair to say that not all of the coolant flows through the radiator as the original fluid path is still open? Would it be more a 50/50 split?

GM would not warranty my car that wouldn't start due to *checks note* an aftermarket seat.
YMMV. Best of luck. Me personally, i won't be relying on GM warranty because i cannot trust that they'll have my back regardless of what they want you to think.
