I have a 22 1lt with performance exhaust. Ive added a larger TB, hornet intake and a pedal commander. Quater mile time are advertised at 11:20s. My best time is a 11:47. Mu question is do the 11:20 time tequire a z51 option with a different gear ratio? What can i do to reduce my quarter mile time without breaking the bank?

Do you have your time slips? And what track did you run on?
Thanks.....just take the information from your time slip and post it for us. By the way, you don't need anything else for your car. The setup that you have right know should have taken at least 2 tenths off your stock time which is huge. What I would also do is try to compare your car with the other C8s

The z51 can get the same 1/4 mile times as non z51.
Best thing to reduce your time or increase your trap speed is run in better air
There are bone stock c8 Corvettes that have run 11.0 at 124mph because they ran in negative 1000da.
Around 26psi in the rear and around 40psi in the front. Do you have any information on your time slips? That would at least give us an idea of what is going on with you and your car. If you rather not reveal that information, then it is understandable.

With the limited info from him given I don’t see why he would not want to post up a time slip or dragy
According to Air Density's web, the DA on your run was between 1267 and 1372, which is not optimal air quality for these cars and others. Your 60ft is GREAT and it appears you are launching the car better than most! I have never gotten below a 1.67 60FT in my Z51 with the performance tires. My stock time, although I only made 2 passes, was an 11.43 at 119.8 and I believe the DA was about 1000 and 60FT was 1.67 or so (my times were posted in one of the threads re: ARHs I believe). Heat kills these cars! In negative DA with your 60FT which will increase in better DA, your car will run at least 2 tenths quicker. Heck, I have headers, ptb, pim, drop-in filter and prayers, and went a whopping 11.36 at 120.10 yesterday. The DA at the track was 2000 ft which was terrible. I think my car should be much faster, but I have come to realize the DA issue. A friend in his C6 ran a best of 11.15 with a drag pack and some other mods yesterday. His car runs 10.80s in negative DA. So, continue to get in your seat time like me and you will likely run 11.20s or better when it cools down a bit.
I agree. You did everything right and the track was likely we'll prepped with sticky stuff which is very helpful. 1.6x 60 foot on stock tires is exactly what you want to see.
Going from positive 1200 to negative 2000 da you'd likely drop 3 tenths and gain 3mph.
Which is interestingly what a stock z51 can run in good air too.
There's only so much power being gained from basic bolt ons and it's important to pick the right ones.
The outliers are running low 10s at 129mph in perfect air running drag packs and picking the right bolt ons. That's probably 50hp to 60hp over the best stock cars that are running 10.9 at 124mph.
Well it's definitely not you. That's a very good 60ft time which I haven't accomplished yet......1.68 for me. I currently have the 87mm ported to 91 eff which I really like. I didn't want to go no bigger than that. What size is your throttle body? Because I see that something is holding you back at the 1/8 mile.
