Similar, but different. Same basic design but not interchangeable. Ingests air through the same routing with same path.

The frunk is removed with trim pieces. Removed all OEM grill inserts and added my own screens. Even though there’s no real issues with cooling. Why have those heavier bigger volume pieces up front. The brake ducts have been closed and sealed off. While also the custom solid plate at the brake ducts was created to create more downforce obviously then extend further inward pass the OEM opening to dump air more directly in and over the condenser/ radiator. Which wasn’t there before. Then removed the full ducts coming in. The OEM brakes as a whole are awful. Anyone says others ways on a road course, you’re not driving hard enough. One session for a good driver will tell. If not, keep pushing.

The brake ducts on this car absolutely do nothing positive. Not even a discussion really. The OEM ducts barely just splash air around the area of the rotors. In which I’ve seen uneven wear, hot spots, high spots in the rotors and so on. Now I haven’t had one issue or sign or bad wear. There’s absolutely no way to run a true kit for this car unless some form of different uprights are made. Either way for a HPDE 20-30 min sessions it’s not needed especially when you have true BBK. AP had a real good write up on this. You want to get your brakes up to a good range quicker anyways when first going out. You want to get heat in the system for ultimate use of brakes.

All that was good for about 26lbs I believe. Then looking into an antigravity battery and the battery will be about another 22lbs. With the amount I’ve removed off the rear already there’s no harm and retain the balance I already had. which I had already had it better than stock. Car should be right under 3400lbs now with full tank but normally never over 3/4 based on my last corner balance. Wait till the windows are done. The car is handling very well. Another corner balance is coming to dial in after finished.

how did you remove those factory grills? Are they bolt-in or did you cut them out? I like the clean look and those things don't do anything.

They’re mostly clipped in and just a few screws. The clips really do hold in. On drivers side you’ll have to determine how to remount the frunk release button. I just pinned it back. I never use it. It was secured into the drivers side grill. The press and secure tabs I’ll call them remain on the bumper themselves and used them to secure the mesh.
