look promising love the idea of cutting down some rotational mass if anyone has photos of the Motorsport gold on their c8 that would be great to since unfortunately they don’t make bronze for that model.
any input is appreciated. The other rims I was looking into is the hre ff11and the mmr f10.

I ordered the VS-5RS Satin Black for my C8 Stingray as a set of wheels for tracking my car but they have been backordered for two months and it looks like they will not fill my order for another month--3 months back order. They are awesome looking wheels so I am waiting!
They look good in gray and black! Hoping they will do the corvette fitment in bronze but I considering the Motorsport gold unless I end up with another rim but these seem good for style and weight.
I had asked Apex about gold as well and was basically told would likely be offered in future but no timeline. I was also looking at VTForged, anyone have any experience with them as a fairly new company? They have similar style and the wheels are custom built yto your specs (diameter, width, offset and color)
I have the SM-10RSs on the C8 and also had them on the GT350. Not exactly the same, but Apex quality is top notch. Near perfect balance as delivered and a substantial weight saving.
I’m glad to hear all the positive feedback! I’m considering the Motorsport Gold I still wish there was bronze for the fitment. But I still am waiting for my 2024 ceramic matrix Gray stingray @ 3000 status right now.
Went back in forth between black and Motorsport gold got the Gold! Took advantage of the sale free shipping plus 950 off. Now I just need them mounted up.
I ended up going with VT forged and a finish they call frozen brushed dark copper. This will be first set in that color and they said it will be slightly darker than rendering but I like it, will go on a white car.

Not only are the Apex VS-5RS the best looking wheel I have found, they are also the best made and the lightest. I just ordered a set of these in satin black for my ordered C8 HTC in Accelerate Yellow. I got the same deal.

Nice wheel setup, should save you 7 to 8lbs unsprung from the weak cast stock.
Keep on going for more unsprung weight. Add a set of aluminum 2 piece rotors and dump the heavy run flat tires. Both of these additions will save you 10 to 12 lbs.
All together 20 lb X4 at each that's 80lbs of unsprung weight which equals 200+lbs of sprung weight, quite significant for the C8.

Roughly 14lb for the front axle and 19lbs for the rear axle

Wow. I did not realize that I would be saving that much weight going with the Apex VS-5RS wheels!!
Now all I have to do is install Girodisc front (3 lbs per rotor less) and rear (5 lbs per rotor less) rotors and you would save 20 lbs 2 oz at the front and 29 lbs 4 oz at the rear or 49 lbs 6 oz total of rotating and unsprung mass!!!! Amazing!

I saved roughly 5 oz a corner so over a pound with the paragon lugs/mcgaurd wheel locks so if I did the disks and they did lose that much it would be 50lb

Like it.
But nobody is mentioning the significance of dumping the OEM heavy run flats which adds 4 to 7 lb per tire, per wheel of unsprung weight. Add Run Flat Delete to one piece aluminum monoblocks and add aluminum two-piece rotors, that's significant on unsprung weight savings. 75-80lbs unsprung weight.
Love a set of 7075 forged aluminum lug nuts as well, smokes heavy steel.
