Default Help With Front Trunk Wire Connection

Hello Forun Members,
I am rebuilding a C8 and need your help to find the mating connection to the front trunk 2 wire connector. The other connector if for the trunk release and it is on the front side of the trunk. This 2 wire connector routes behind the trunk, but I can find no mating female connector. I would appreciate help.
Thanks,
Nick

Is it possibly the proximity sensor? There is one on front of the frunk on the backside of the impact bar.

Good suggestion. On the impact bar I see two crash sensors, 2 horn connectors, 2 connections for the trunk release, one connector for the trunk light, release, power plug, one connection on bottom of plastic bumper crush zone (this may be the proximity sensor). But I still see no open female plug for this 2 wire connector? Does the bumper cover have any wires? The bumper was not on this car.

I'm trying to remember it's been a few months since I rebuilt mine. Now I think the proximity sensor is below this plastic impact. It's not on the front bumper the connections are on the sides.

Thank you for your reply. The bumper harness is a separate harness.
