Default Attack air filter

Has anyone purchased and tried the Attack blue nanofiber air filter in a C8? Is there any improvement in performance? At $150 a pop is it worth it?

It's ok. Fitment wasn't very good when I tested it. It needs to be cleaned every 10k miles and replaced at 50k.

I'd personally opt for the aFe dry filter since it just needs cleaning every 30k and lasts for the life of the car.

There's a lot of reports on the Facebook groups saying the afe causes a check engine light.

If true, then my recommendation would be the K&N due to better fitment, longer life, and the OEM-style air divider.

Worked fine for me. No problems for 4k miles. Now (just a few days ago) installed the Halltech intake, which uses the attack filter as well - came with a new one.

Afe dry filter and no codes or issues for several thousand miles.

You can't go wrong with either Afe or Attack Blue filters.

Paragon did dyno testing using several different filters including Aatack Blue. They
have a video of the results:

Default Attack Blue Intall

Just installed an Attack Blue Filter on my '23 C8 Stingray with 4,100 miles. After watching numerous videos critiquing various filter elements with dyno results & showing tips on the installation process,I decided on the A.B. filter. A simple but tedious install with all the torx screws involved. An electric screwdriver definitely speeds the process. Be sure the orange gasket around the air box is firmly in place. A mirror to assure the bottom of the gasket is in place would be wise. I did carefully used a heat gun to warm the filter perimeter to help the filter slide into the filter box. As for results, I am relying on published dyno numbers to justify the expense. No issues or CEL warnings so far.

My biggest concern with an aftermarket filter is how good it actually filters. Attack Blue uses nanofibers for there element so there is potential that it actually filters as good as the OEM filter while also allowing better airflow but they don't show any test data. They claim the use ASHRAE 52.2 as a testing and rating standard but just have a lot of marketing BS on their website with no actual test results:

Nanofiber filters generally do a better job at filtering than their cellulose counterparts but tend to load up quicker. I suspect that is why they have the 10K mile cleaning requirement which I'm OK with but not the or every year requirement. I wish they'd provide more details.

You probably will not "feel" the difference of the Attack Blue the 1.27% to 1.34% RWHP gains on the street, but if you plan to do 0-60 runs or 1/4 mile runs you may see a very, very slight difference in the times.
