Getting ready to have new wheels installed on my new Vette, and I've heard and read about being cautious jacking up the car. Is the car's frame/ undercarriage that vulnerable to damage ?
Pucks work ok but the rubber blocks that came with my Quickjack work fine too.
That quickjack looks like a handy tool !! But im just mainly concerned about the wheel change at my local wheel dealer.. I'll order the pucks.. Thanks for the info .

The C8 Frame is solid and not vulnerable to damage. It's the 60% rear weight that makes it susceptible to tilting IF you don't lift at the GM oval slots on the frame. Also in the rear there is a place that looks fine to lift. It's NOT the frame!
Here are some pics:
NOTE there is a place NOT on the frame that looks like a good spot for a jacl or jack pad on a post lift. It's NOT the FRAME!
Even a skilled teck will not put his head on the shop floor to locatethe oval slot. Here is Chuck the great Tech at the dealership where Conti is the salesman. Note he is reaching in to place the jack pads on the oval slot. They service many Vettes and he can get it right. many can't. i recommend even folks who don't do their own work, see IF you can find the oval slot in the rear without a flashlight and without putting your head on your garage floor! Think Techs will put their head on a dirty shop floor? The great C8 Trained Tech wo has a post arm lift uses the 4 jack pads i supply to assure it's being lifted correctly. The C8 Trained Tech uses the 4 jack pads I supply to lift my C8. It assures his jack arm pads are lifting in my frame. They also allow him to remove the 4 or ~30 bolts holding the aluminum rear aero panel that are close to the GM oval lifting slots needed when changing DCT filter. Otherwise, his large pads would block those. Chuck in a video said they had to lift a C8 serval times to reposition the large pads on his jack arms to clear those bolts!
