Does anyone know how to get the split screen viewing on the main screen? I was using the Navigation and somehow I touched a button on the screen and I got the Navigation on one side of the screen and the radio on the other side. I actually would prefer this and don’t know how I got it to display this way. I don’t like having to go to the screen directly in front of the driver and select “audio” to see what radio channel I am on when I am using navigation.
I don't think the OP is talking about Android Auto. The OEM Nav allows you to have it on 2/3 of the screen and the Audio on 1/3.
I never use the OEM Nav, but IIRC, when you have the Nav screen up, swipe it to the right (or maybe it's the left?) and the audio screen will appear on the left.
Pretty sure it's swipe right.

Does anyone use the navigation that comes with the car? It's Waze or Google maps for me.

I tried it when the car was new. It's OK (other than voice recognition, which is the worst I've ever seen), and it navigates basic routes fine. But unless you pay for an extra cost subscription, you pretty much have to enter specific addresses for a destination. Asking for directions to a business name or similar just doesn't work very well. There's also no real time traffic without a subscription.
Google maps just does more, works better, and is basically free, assuming you already have a smartphone and data plan. The built-in nav can be useful if you need to start navigating from somewhere with no data service on you phone.
