Noticing my 2023 convertible rear window doesn’t fully close. The upper edge stops just at the gasket but doesn’t seat that extra 1/4” or so into it to make a good seal.
Does anyone know if there is a simple adjustment or re-indexing procedure for this back window? The dealer will get it eventually for a few other items to address but I’d prefer not to garage it or risk a leak until it goes in.
First I would cycle the top down and then back up and hold the button until you get the message that it is complete. If that doesn’t do it follow the programming procedure.

Under the tonneau, just below the rear window, there is a black plastic cover. I have read (but haven't verified) that there is an adjustment that can be made under that cover.
Ii think the window indexing procedure only affects the side windows, and not the back.
Unfortunately the RH cable on my top broke today so I’m unable to look at mine and give you measurements. I’m headed to the dealership on Wednesday.
Can you see an air gap between the window and seal?
When I raise the window, I noticed the upper edge stopped right as it made contact with the gasket. Once I got suspicious, I felt with a fingertip and easily noticed the window isn’t seating inside the gasket. Any lower and there’d be an air gap. A friend at the dealership confirmed mine isn’t fully raising and needs adjustment.

Youre right that indexing didn’t fix anything. The back window doesn’t even index really. I was looking inside the tonneau earlier but didn’t see an obvious solution. I’ll check again tomorrow.
Theres a black box below the window that you can see with the tonneau raised. You pop off an outer cover and then you can see the motor and gearbox for the window. Another cover pops off the gearbox with 5 tabs and you can see the cable pulley with a hex screw in the center of the cable winder. 5/32 hex key allows adjustment. Simple and fixed!
