Default E85 Aeroforce and sensor kit - Can it be done???

I have decided to create a new thread as I am hijacking the hell out of Degfu's thread (sorry about that bud). Now I am thinking about going down a new rabbit hole with this car lol. I have a Aeroforce interceptor gauge in my Camaro that I am currently not using. I have an email out to Areoforce to see if I can use the same gauge in my Corvette (C8). Whats even better, they sell a gauge pod for our cars as well. I love gauges so this is a perfect winter project. If the gauge is universal to each car (cant see why not) I am going to order the pod and the ethanol content sensor it. If this all works out and I start doing this whole mixing deal. What is the ideal "Alcohol Pct" I want to see in the C8 with a factory tune. In Degfu's thread there is a tune of details around fuel trims, WB, etc. I am a simple man. I am looking for a smooth range lol. Then the next challenge is getting wires from cab to engine bay which looks like a real pain in the ***.

And to answer one of my own questions, the C8 will require its own gauge. It is different from the one offered for the C8. Perhaps this helps someone else interested in mixing E and wanting to monitor with a gauge. I mean an easy way to spend $600+ LOL

Interceptor OBD2 Single Gauge Chevrolet Corvette 2005 - 2019 – AeroForce Technology, Inc.
Corvette C8 2020 - Present Single Gauge Pod – AeroForce Technology, Inc.
Ethanol Content and Fuel Temperature Sensor Kit (Sensor Included) – AeroForce Technology, Inc.

I ran 30% on mine and it corrected just fine. However if you want some real benefits we can do the flex fuel setup where the tune actually adjust fuel & timing.

Not to hijack Teddy but the C8Z … will there be similar gains and correcting without a tune ?

Not a problem at all my friend getting Joe and the CPR to reply to a thread of yours is like having one of the Corvette gods touch down for you

As to my situation. I am here in lovely CA and I have ZERO desire to unlock my ecu. Beside the outrageous cost (no desire to boost) I am simply not interested. I did the easy bolt on stuff like Porter tb (soler), intake (socal Porting), K&N system, and a MBRP catback, I am about good. I do have a nitorus kit installed but have yet to wire it up. Thats more for looks anyways. With the fact I am fortunate to live a mile from a E85 station and it is my primary gas station I want to take advantage with my factory tuning. I put 5 gallons in my Camaro/Maggie the other day and its running great. I have to go to work in awhile and going to put 5 gallons in the C8 and top off before I leave so I can see how that goes. I am just curious is I spend all this money to put in a gauge to monitor my alcohol percentage (thinking Camaro as well) what percentage should I want to stay around. As for Camaro when Caliber built that car they tuned it for 91 but figure I can bump it up a bit. They did give me 2 tunes. They said the second file nets me about 50 rwhp but up top is not ildeal and I should put in a power adder if I want to mess with that tune and to watch AFR. That was 4 years ago and I still have not uploaded it to the car. LOL

I honestly don't know, one of our good customers just got his Z in last week and we will mess with it. But at this time I just don't know other than it will correct fueling but unsure if they are timing sensitive like the LT2's are on pump gas.

haha I'm just a normal guy. Totally understand not wanting to tune it, blending to 30% ethanol on our C8 netted 11 wheel gain, I threw more in it and while it did correct for it there was zero additional power gain.
