Default Opinion on exhaust

I would like to install an aftermarket exhaust on my 2023 stingray , i really like the sound of the hooker exhaust . I would like your opinion please. And if you know who can install these in or near SW Florida?

Thanks

I’m looking for the same info. Specifically for the muffler delete cat back. I really like it’s simplicity and presumably low weight. Thanks!

My guess it will drone at certain rpms. Tried something similar on my C4.

Do you think the cat backs with the crossovers like MBRP and Paragon knock out the drone whereas these wouldn’t? The Hooker I listed looks simple enough that I’m kicking around ordering up some exhaust pipe, flex joints and bends from Summit to try and make one myself.

One of the best all in one place exhaust comparisons

C8 Stock Exhaust vs AWE vs Borla vs Corsa vs Paragon

I am seriously considering the Paragon Exhaust because of its quality and price.

I have AWE Touring. Don't be fooled by the "touring" designation, it's loud. I love it, but on cold starts it definitely can wake up the neighborhood. The touring part is more about eliminating drone.

I did a custom true dual setup. Love the more classic v8 sound of it. Hooker probably sounds like that, I havent heard it in person, but it's what I wanted before I chose to go custom. I have j-pipes to cancel drone. Unsure if mine would be droney without the J pipes... 👍👍

Our best selling exhausts are by AWE and Borla. Corsa is in that mix as well.

Feel free to text us anytime.

There's a million things to consider when thinking about an exhaust for C8. Do you currently have the oem dual mode system? The straight pipe systems are going to be loud without much sound tuning. The muffler delete options from let's say Corsa with the x cross section in the middle will have a bit more gurgle on deceleration.

The tip selection varies between brands that's another big differentiator.

If it matters to you:
Paragon, Top Speed, Hooker made in China.
Corsa, AWE, Borla made in USA.

Happy to go over options and availability together I own Corvetteexhaustsystems.com call or text for the fastest replies 201-575-0861.

I always see you stating Paragon exhaust is made in China. Their website says their exhaust is made in the USA. Let's not spread misinformation about a great product.

Its a cross plane crank V8. They all sound pretty much the same. Some a little louder, some slight tone differences.

We ran a prototype exhaust with an x that sounded great with no drone issues. We later switched to something like this to make room for a diffuser and it sounded great WOT on the straights but had a nasty drone cruising.

The hooker blackheart system has no afm valves so expect a weird noise/resonance in 4 cylinder mode.

Any time you delete the afm valves you're going to get a weird sound/drone when the car goes into 4 cylinder mode.

I have the AWE track and have people i drive with on a regular basis with others and mine is the most aggressive by a large margin.
It does not sound the same at all.
