2024 HTC, non-z51 with mag ride. Had the AWE Touring exhaust (no valves) installed about a month ago. A few weeks later I got a CEL. Called AWE and they sent me new simulators. Had the new simulators installed yesterday and the CEL came back almost immediately. A reputable high performance shop (Five Bar Motorsport) did the install, so I don’t think it was an installation error. Will give AWE a call again, but just wondering if anybody else has had this problem?
I have the same exhaust which was installed by my selling dealer. I have had no issues with it. It's been installed now for about 1000 miles. The vette tech told me it may possibly blow a cel and to just bring it back and he would do a "relearn" if it did. Awe advertises no cel...I can't help but wonder if something did not get put back quite right...it looked like there were a number of wires to disconnect and reconnect back adjacent to the exhaust and in the bumper fascia etc. there on the u tube videos I watched prior to deciding on letting them do it for me. I hope this helps some.
