Default TPMS problem

I've recently swapped wheels. After driving for over 50 miles, the TPMS is still not displaying a value. DIC indicates "relearn". I bought a TPMS tool from Amazon, (EL-50448). Using the TPMS tool, I got the horn to honk at each wheel, starting with the left front and going clockwise. When I got the to the last wheel the horn honked once, then twice. I assumed a successful relearn. Unfortunately, the DIC still displays "relearn". Did I miss something or is it time for a trip to the dealer? Thanks for any help.

Did you use the correct GM TPMS sensors? I've had 4 sets of wheels/tires with factory tpms, never an issue, they usually connect with in 2-3 miles

Yes, they are the sensors that came from the factory.

Did you try to use the TPMS learn option in the DIC menu? That option is only for using the TPMS tool to immediately learn the TPMS vs just driving without using the learn option. I think if you don't back out of the menu it will continue to display. There is a procedure to use the learn option in the service manual.

Yes I did. I left the recently installed wheels and sensors sit overnight. I then drove it 50 miles the next day. When I check the tire pressure it says "relearn".
I've been waiting over a month for a center console button to arrive at the dealership. (It's on back order). When it arrives, I'll have them check out the TPMS system and report back here what they find.
