I have a 2021 C8 Z51 with nearly 15,000 miles. I got a cel light with some driving issues. Checking the OBD for codes I found a P0700 code #711. It looks like a DCT code. I tried pulling the negative battery cable for 15 seconds. No help. Any ideas?
Well, it looks like it might have been a false alarm. This is what they came back with.
“RUN SYSTEM CK AND FOUND P0700 STORED IN ECM AS HISTORY CODE. RUN SYSTEM CK AND FOUND U1608 STORED IN TCM FOR "UNKNOWN DTC" STORED AS HISTORY CODE. NO PROBLEM FOUND AT THIS TIME. STORED CODES CLEARD FROM ECM AND TCM AND ROAD TEST, ALL OK.”
They said it might have been a result of a spike in voltage or a drop in voltage. Mine continued to run fine after the light came on. I know yours didn’t, so I hope everything turns out okay for you, as well.

For my '22 Z51 HTC, at around 300 miles, I had a CEL and "idle creep disabled" message displayed. When I got home I pulled the codes and then did a little online research. Possibly break-in contaminants were interfering with the DCT solenoids. CEL cleared later the same day so I assumed it was a fluke. Since car always drove fine and shifted normally, I did not visit dealer but drove another 7500 miles and then had the first service performed. Car has been flawless since this minor hiccup at 300 miles and I now have around 27,000 pleasure-filled miles on the car.
