I have an 2021 C8 Z51, I already installed an after market exhaust with NPPs & Ams from Progan. In order to install this and not to receive any check engine light and make the car run smoothly what would I need to do exactly? An Tune? Anything in particular. Please let me know what do I need to do to install these and not decrease my performance.
Probably a tune to shut off the P0430 code you'll get with headers/no cats. I just popped my first code after driving about 200 miles. I just reset it and moved on. I will likely get my car on the dyno, and do a before/after comparison of with and w/o a tune.
Also, the CEC light is just that, a code which tells you the cats aren't preforming (how can they, they're not installed) and there is no drivability/power loss issues.

I don’t have any idea at this point. I may just pay to have the ECU unlocked, and see what power the car makes with headers. Im at 7400’ elevation, so any gains from a tune would be nice. I believe the rule of thumb for power loss is about 3% per 1K’ in elevation
Update: Im scheduled for dyno runs next Thursday. Eager to see what she puts down
