You have the option of installing them wherever you want, then use a remote control device. Little remote relays are pretty cheap. I doubt the trumpet will fit under the bumper.
That way you avoid any possible issue with DTC, or any potential warranty issue.
Here is the schematic you asked for. Actually, it looks like the circuit from the KR3 relay to horns is simple. There is even a fuse that is DOWNSTREAM from the relay. I can think of a few ways you could disconnect the original horns and tap in to the circuit downstream of the relay or even the fuse if you do not want to use a remote horn switch as I suggested above. You could, for example, pull the fuse and tap into it there - put your own fuse in your new circuit. Or tap downstream from the existing fuse somehow, and find a way to disconnect the original horns.
