So I rotated my tires the other day, I think this is my first GM that has auto relearn. I'm not so sure it works.
For the last several days I drove around several times more than the manual says...10min and over 12mph...I thought it was ok, but this afternoon I got in the car and the left side was reading high. My car faces east so the sun beats on the right side and the tire pressures are usually high on the right side for the first few miles.
so I got out my trusty relearn tool and gave them a teaching, sure enough, after all the driving, the tpms didn't relearn on their own. Any body else have issues with auto relearn?
BTW, the tool still works great for gm vehicles.
I have never used it. Its been reported by others that it does work. But like everything else with this car, sometimes stuff doesn't work. Sometimes its the car that does not read the owner's manual. For example, for most the wireless car play works, but there are many reports on the forum about it not working, and not all of them can be attributed to operator error.
I have never had an issue but am normally swapping wheels so it has to relearn to display anything, otherwise I disconnect battery and again it has to re learn or will just display hashmarks.
