So I was looking to upgrade my exhaust system and it seems there re a number of issues that can arise from doing it. A few guys mentioned just getting tips if you goal is to getting a better or more aggressive sound and not spend a lot of cash. I came across LHT performance tips and was wondering if anyone has installed these tips. They're not expensive at all and sound pretty darn good on YouTube vids.

I felt the same way but considering the fact that they are non-resonated vs. resonated (stock), that has to change the sound. Give a listen on you tube and let me know ....
I'm trying to post the link but for some reason I can't. Just search LHT performance c8

Sure, that also applies for air conditions (temp, pressure, humidity) affecting sound propagation and attenuation. I think the point is significantly affecting sound. Tips, unless they are big ol' bullet muffler style tips, will likely affect sound in a minor way if at all. Sure, maybe they modify it but a vast majority will come from what's upstream.
