Default Exhaust tip question - Stingray
Don’t really care for how the aftermarket exhaust tail pipes look or how they stick out further that factory.

Is there an aftermarket Black tip set available that looks like and fits like the factory black tips?

Can the Borla system be modified with either different t tips or cutting something back so what they come with don’t sit out so far?

These are Borla S-type black chrome tips - is this what you mean by "sit out so far"?

yours looks okay. many others i have seen pictures of are sticking out beyond the panel 1/4-1/2" or so

You can always paint yours. I don't like the poke look either. Tape up, scuff and paint with high temp. paint.
