I'm a first time Corvette owner and have a question. I got hooked on Android Auto a while ago and always like to use it whenever possible. However, it's been my experience with my '24 is that it will work for a while, but then all of the icons on the bottom of the main screen (map) do not accept inputs. The vehicle shortcuts on the left of the map screen all work fine, however the Phone / Text / Spotify buttons below do nada.

I have not had this issue, mine have been working fine for over 7500 miles and 10 months. I use mine all the time (literally every time I drive the car) with no issue. Is it specific to wired or wireless? You might try deleting the phone pairing and reconnecting. Also, make sure your phone is at the latest update and that the time and time zone on both the phone and the car are correct.

It's good to hear that there's a success story out there... will try all of your suggestions. I seemed to have narrowed it down to when I change drive modes and the animations play.
Also, I have a MY24 with the updated Google UI. That might be part of my problem.

My Z06 is 2024 as well. While I dislike the new Google UI, it works perfectly with AA for me. I will note that I turned off the drive mode animations after about a month of driving it, so the majority of my miles/time has been without them. I do change drive mode on a regular basis.

I had no idea they could be disabled (only a week in). I just did a search of the owner's manual and internet but didn't find anything. Care to share? All I'm getting is how to disable the fuel management system.

Anyone have experiences like this? Fixes?
Thanks

Appreciate the tips.
I believe it's under Settings > Vehicle > “Drive Mode Customization"
Infotainment System likes a reboot once in a while, just like your phone, or other Android based devices. Clears cache, cleans up lost threads, flushes RAM, refreshes the Android OS.
Vehicle in P(ark), engine running, press and hold the "Call End" steering wheel button for about 15 seconds or until the Infotainment System goes black, then release.
System will reboot in about 1 minute.
Also, some features are disabled while driving on purpose. See Page 116, 118, 155-156 in the 2024 C8 OM.
