Default Tire pressures for tracking?

Heading to a track day with some friends next weekend. I’ve never been to this track, so I imagine I’ll take it easy quite a few laps just to learn, but what tire pressures should I be running while on the track?

If you are tracking your c8, have you completed the track prep guide?
also where will you be tracking and what temps will you see?

rough guideline is you want 32 PSI hot.

summer starting PSI
23 psi front
24 psi rear

Winter starting psi
25 psi front
26 psi rear

there’s a track prep guide? lol. I haven’t done any of that. Stock tires, velgen wheels, just getting out for a day to drive on LGs track, nothing super crazy

Don't know if you are kidding or not, but there is a separate track preparation guide, but most of that (maybe all of it?) now appears in the Owner's Manuals in a section called Track Events and Competitive Driving. Part of the includes some suggested tire pressures. There is a distinction made for tire pressures between tracking with lots of curves and braking, vs sustained high speed driving (which suggests higher pressures).

What year car? One of the big things called out in owners manual to maintain transmission warranty assuming z51 is adding 2 l transmission fluid. This is required for 2020- late 2023 cars.

Good. Z06s never need the extra 2 liter track fill. And, 2024 Stingrays don't either. But the other track prep stuff in the Owner's Manual is worth a read. Here are links to the Performance Manaul and the Track Prep Guide for 2024.
