Hey guys, I spent the last few days installing the Corsa system on my C8. I wrapped it up today, and upon final check, I noticed both mufflers are slightly touching the lower diffuser/valence. They are not resting on it, just literally touching it. I went for a drive, checked the heat, etc, and it seems fine. Figured to throw a post in here and see if the consensus is to adjust it so it is not touching. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
On a side note, oh my god. The exhaust sounds incredible. If you are on the fence on a Corsa system like I was, do not hesitate. I am so glad I did it.
I have same system, you have me curious now how close mine is. There is quite a bit of adjustment in that system where you might be able to remedy that.
We've installed a bunch of them and haven't had any clearance issues - we've had to adjust/'massage' them a bit to get the fitment perfect, or close to it.

Got it. Yeah, I may need to remove the lower panels and just adjust it a bit. I don't think it needs much as it's barely touching. I thought about putting a small piece of insulation foam at the contact point but will just adjust it instead. Thanks.
Hey guys, so I ended up removing the panels on the underside and adjusting the exhaust. I managed to get almost half an inch of clearance. Thanks for the input. Definitely worth the extra effort to ensure things are done right.
On a side note, I do notice some water coming from the clamp areas when starting the car. I read through a few forums that it's normal, since the exhaust is not air tight unless welded together.
I still cannot believe how good the Corsa exhaust sounds. No videos I have watched have been able to capture the sound in real life. If you are on the fence, do not hesitate.

Glad you got it sorted and agree, Corsa system is a must
