Eventuri Intake —Cutting trunk

Hey,
Does anyone know for sure if you are required to cut the trunk liner? I have emailed Eventuri twice with no response.
I don’t really care if anyone can see my intake and prefer not to cut.

It kinda sticks out so you would have to cut to fit or just omit it. either way the bulge will be there

Just leave the carpet out of the trunk. Just kidn. It does take up space with the bulge

You cannot install without cutting, as others have already said. The "*****" stick out into the trunk a few inches, and the stock carpet is rigid. Cut it or leave it out. Search the forum for my name and Eventuri install instructions...

Has no discernable impact on fixing the roof in the trunk. Might be 5% more difficult to get it in position because now you have an additional 'obstacle' that you don't want to hit or mark up. I think the intake performs well and all but I use my car too much to even consider doing this. It's more for the Sunday driver crowd.
