Average installation cost for catalytic converters

Average installation cost for catalytic converters

Hey everyone,
I want to solicit some input based on your experience.

How much has it cost you to have catalytic converters installed on your c8 if you hasld a shop install it.

I understand that it may be more involved in a HTC than Coupe, so if you would please demote whether the reply is based on cost for HTC or Coupe install.

Going rate is about 3 hours at whatever your shop's rate is. No real difference in a cat swap between a coupe and HTC. After you remove the airbox from the trunk side, it is all done from underneath.

curious if the airbox needs to be removed? You could
remove exhaust the. Just remove cats from above

I've seen videos like Paragon's where they instruct you to remove the exhaust and then go from the top and remove the airbox. I've seen it done where they just loosen the exhaust hangers enough to get enough play to slip them out. I've also seen the whole job done from the bottom where they never touch under the trunk.
