Default track tire sizes

I went with the Apex wheel size recommendation for the 18" front and 19" rear.

Apex suggested tire sizes for these are 265/35/18 and 315/30/19. It is NOT easy to find one tire that meets both of these sizes HOWEVER if I go up to 275/35/18 & 325/30/19 its MUCH easier. The diameter increase is 7mm Front and Rear or 1.1-1.2%. The math says I'd be better off going to a 345/30/19 rear.

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this or sees any issue with this increase. It seems fine to me.

The car isn't lowered but will be getting the track alignment.

Any input is appreciated.

I have 18in rims front and back. Part of my decision making was to keep the stagger in diameter close to factory. Your wheel width needs to also be considered. Tires benefit from a bit of stretch so to speak. My front rims are 10.5 inches with 285/30 Nankangs. Maybe a bit of tire rub on full lock on the brake duct. Your wheel offsets also need to be considered as it pertains to potential interference. I have 335's in the back without issue with respect to tire to car interference. Some things to consider. Others will chime in.

My track tire set up is the 275 18s up front and 325 19s that you are asking about. Absolutely not a problem. As a matter of fact, my car is the Orange C8 in Apex’s gallery. You will be fine.

On 18's I ran 295/30/19 and 345/35/18 Hoosiers with zero issue. The car can handle a lot of tire, and really wants a 315 in front but I never went that large...
