Default Audio problem with new 2025 conv.

I just bought my Corvette and am trying out the ML sound system. I noticed no sound coming from the door speakers. I checked the balance and fade, and the front and rear speakers work. Do you have any thoughts?

Sounds like an issue for the dealer. Other than the fade setting - I'm not aware of any normal setting that would stop sound from the front door speakers.

But there are three speakers in each door. Are all three dead?

They are, in each door: 1) a 10 in woofer, 2) 1 inch "high performance tweeter", in the upper front, and 3) 4 inch "wide-range" speaker in the upper front.

There is also a small triangular grille in the rear part of the door above the armrest - if that is still included in 2025 - but that's not a speaker, its an "active noise cancellation microphone" per the Service Manual. There won't be any sound coming out of that.

Thanks, yes it's all three in both doors. I heard music from the back but not sure the speaker location.

Here is an illustration of the speaker locations. Not sure it will help though. The speaker schematic shows that there are individual line from the amplifier to each of the 14 speakers. So, its hard to point to a single place that would cause just the door speakers to fail - other than the amplifier itself. Edit: there is place in the schematic where it looks like all 3 of the door speakers on one side are on a common connector. But its a different connector for each side.

I guess you tried messing with all of the audio options in the menu - but I'm not aware that any of them would cause the door speakers to be silent.
