I did some looking around and I'm not the first one to experience this but thought I'd ask around and see if anyone has any insight. It's going into the dealership next friday and I do have extended warranty but MAYBE it's something simple?
The failure occurred about two weeks ago during a session at an HPDE.
I my code reader came back with the following...
My guess is the wire has rubbed up against something and shorted.
Ive had failures of both the camera cable in the trunk which runs from above passenger tire area to behind bumper. Subsequantly had the interior harness cable fail and they were not able to get a replacement cable in the 3-4 months before my car was bought back due to trans issues. Both failures happened after HPDE events.

I have the same issue and codes. Haven't had time to take to the dealer however some have told me they (Chevy) had to replace the rear camera. Please keep us posted.
That's pretty rough. 3-4 months? I bought this as I was tired of the significant maintenance of my modified C5 thinking this would be "trouble free motoring". Not surprised that with a car this complex there could be issues. Hence buying 6 yrs of warranty.
The first message sounds like a bad cable. But a bad connector where the cable attaches to the camera might cause the same fault.
Hopefully its just the connector or camera. Those seem to be the quickest and easiest for them to deal with.
I'll report back next Monday with what the tech finds.
