Anyone else????
So I only have 1057 miles on my car so far. So driving home from work today I noticed that the check engine light came on . Checked the code when I got home and it's P219A Air fuel ratio imbalance bank 1. The car was driving fine and no limp mode. So I did clear the code to see if it comes back. I've also noticed that the my Chevy app want's me to schedule service for the fuel management system ( Probably the P219A CODE) and it also wants me to schedule service for my Transmission. It says "Issue detected" with no reason. I hope this isn't the harbinger of bad news for my car. Any ideas.

Anyway the actual condition that trigger it, according to the Service Manual, is "HO2S Data = Greater than a predefined threshold". And HO2S refers to one of the heater oxygen sensors.
There is a list of things to check in the diagnostic procedure. Do you have any aftermarket equipment installed?
The list includes but is not limited to these items:
Exhaust System - Leaking / Missing components / Restricted >> Refer to: Symptoms - Engine Exhaust
Fuel - Contaminated / Poor Quality - Refer to: Alcohol/Contaminants-in-Fuel Diagnosis
Fuel Injectors - Restricted >> Refer to: Fuel Injector Diagnosis
Ignition System = Malfunction >> Refer to: Electronic Ignition System Diagnosis
Intake Air Duct - Loose Clamps / Cracked / Visible Damage
Intake Manifold - Leaking
Mass Airflow Sensor - Contamination of the measuring element / Water intrusion
Positive Crankcase Ventilation System - Incorrect connection / Leaking / Restricted >> Refer to: Crankcase Ventilation System
Inspection/Diagnosis
Vacuum Hoses - Incorrect connection / Kinked / Leaking / Restricted
If it does not go away, you are going to have to have the dealer perform the diagnosis under the warranty.
Well I haven't driven it since I cleared the code a few hours ago. Was going to wait till tomorrow morning. . The cars brand new 1057 miles so no mods done to it. I guess I wait and see what happens tomorrow,
Well thankfully the code didn't come back. Also stopped at the dealer and talked to the service advisor. Didn't get much info from him but I walked out feeling better that the cars ok.
