Default PDR - Rear Camera

Is there any way to configure the PDR so that it records rear camera video simultaneously with front camera video?

I use my PDR as a dash cam. It would be very nice to have the rear view recorded to. Especially like Saturday when I had a road rager chasing me threatening to ram me.

It is truly bizarre the things that GM neglected to put into the C8--either intentionally or by oversight:

-Adaptive Cruise Control
-Rear Camera PDR
-Rear Camera on HTC that doesn't hide with the top down
-Ambient lighting
-Ability to read codes from the check-engine light...somewhere on the infotainment screen (e.g. diagnostic mode that doesn't require OBD2 reader)
-Ability to independently set fan speed on the HVAC for different vents (via infotainment screen)
-Ability to fully customize the gauge display for all readouts (eg. more than 2, selectable items viewable at a time--with a smaller speedo/tach)
-Mirror camers to enable 360 top-down camera view for low-speed maneuvering

I love my ER and probably will never trade it for a newer vette. I just don't see GM making an AWD successor that remediates so many of the nit-picking things that annoys me about the C8. But if they did...
