Default Port injection

Has anyone here ever installed or seen a C8 with port injection added to it? And if so, do you know if it is worth it and also what is required? I saw a Holley manifold system with port fuel injection rails on American Muscle and was curious.

This is not a good idea UNLESS its a complete kit that works with the cars ECM and all the other controls .....and it better guarantee 100 HP .

Yes, it's possible but probably not necessary unless you are adding a ton of power. (There are videos on YT featuring C8's w/port injection, though it was not necessary for their builds.)
The DI system can be upgraded to support well over 100+ HP without needing Port Injection.
There are already a few LT2 manifolds that support port injection on the market.

That would be great if a vendor would do a set up like that. Need a tune and a most efficient mounting location.
I would get that setup not for power but to keep my valves clean. We all know the draw back with DI.

Z06 LT6 has both port and direct injection... I don't think anyone has developed such a kit for the LT2, would take a lot of R&D to do.

It’s coming…. Keep an eye out…. There is already a great solution on the market for the C7’s to add port. It’s just a matter of time. Additionally, it is absolutely worth it. GM’s cheap asses should have done dual injection like Ford and Toyota have been doing for years. If nothing else you get the advantage of the injectors keeping the intake valves clean. These direct injection engines valves look like lava rocks by 40k miles.

Not the LT6 Z06. LT7 has both in the ZR1.

I thought the LT6 did too. It is my understanding that DI can't keep up after about 6,500 rpm so Port is added to go above that.

If anyone develops a velocity stack FI system I'll be the first in line.

Your going to have to pay to have the ECM unlocked to tune it and that's 1500 bucks with HP Tuners. I want to run E65 on mine like I have on all my cars in my profile, this car costs so much more to just get started. Plus you have to buy 8 credits to tune it, so that's another 400 bucks for the credits, then the cost of the tune. These cars already have wide bands so I'd like to see if I can run 40 to 50 E without tuning it.

I ran THPSI port injection with a Maggie on my 2022 Camaro on E65. It's not needed on your NA application, you'll be wasting money trying to do that. We ran the PI with the stock fuel system and had plenty of fuel on the logs we ran and I logged on every pass. We actually turned the high and low side down as the Reflex controller working with the stock Ecu, we ran 26 degrees of timing without any knock on 11 lbs of boost. That's a boost application but not worth the effort for NA. Look for some other options.

Is there any chance you could share the list with us? I'm interested in adding port injection and would like to do it right, so your insight would be really appreciated!
