I reached out to Cosworth and here's the info back > Cliff's - Phased rollout of functionality is all coming this year in the AliveDrive app.

"To complement the upgraded PDR system, Cosworth are providing a new desktop application to enable the analysis of the outings from the vehicle - AliveDrive Desktop. There is a phased delivery plan for the features in AliveDrive Desktop, and some of the features you mention in your email are coming in later releases. The plan is to take the original Cosworth (GM) Toolbox application, and to improve and extend on it in order to provide end users with an even better analysis tool.

Here is a broad overview of the roadmap for the development of our application.

Release 1.0 (Jan 2026)

Single outing playback
Whole or single lap
Select overlay
Data visualization (laps and lap times, tailored to circuit outings)
PDR v2.5 file support
Outing export, whole or single lap with choice of baked-in overlay
Windows 11 application

Release 1.1 (March 2026)

Introducing a macOS version of the Windows v1.0 application

Addition of recent outings list in the menu
Expansion of shortcuts for playback
Windows and MacOS versions

Release 2.0 (early June 2026)

Single and dual-outing (time-based comparison) playback
Whole outing, single lap, multi-lap playback/comparison
Overlay selectable per outing
Non-interactive track map display
PDR 1, 2 and v2.5 outing support (support for latest and older generation systems)
Outing export
Whole outing, single lap, multi-lap
Export clip (dashcam use case)
Track file management
Import single track
Windows and MacOS versions
Simple graphical analysis* (Brake (%), Throttle (%), Steering Angle (degrees), Delta
(*Goal is to get Simple graphical Analysis into v2.0 but not yet 100% confirmed, may need to shift to v2.1)

Release 2.1 ( ~July/August, exact date TBC)

Distance-based dual video playback
Track file management
Tracks managed as local files – bulk import, export, delete, filter, sort
Change track associated with outing
Create track from outing (fastest lap)
Interactive track map display
Toggle display of start/stop line, direction of travel indicator, vehicle position
Map scalability (resize, zoom)
Windows and MacOS versions

Release 3.0 ( ~Sept/Oct, exact date TBC)

Statistics and advanced graphs display (configurable, more channels available)
Provide view of key data per lap for the outing(s) in a table or graphical format
Corner Analysis
Analysis specifically for corners and straights through presentation of segment specific data and statistics
Show favorites when opening files
Track map editing
Edit start/finish line
Edit direction of travel
Edit and add segment markers
Duplicate track
Windows and MacOS versions

The goal is to provide a continual , incremental improvement to the functionality of the application in an agile approach - delivering functionality as and when it is available. The roadmap above is the current plan but is subject to change so that we can deliver features when available, not sticking to a rigid timetable.

We are providing a view of the latest feature rollout plan via the roadmap on the AliveDrive Desktop product page of our website, Alivedrive Desktop | Cosworth

We are aware of a bug where the audio/video can get out of sync during playback which has been fixed with a vehicle update. Your vehicle may have been delivered with our PDR R26.4 software. GM are providing an OTA update to customers to take the PDR to our R27.0 version which fixes this issue.

We are also aware of an audio/video sync issue for AliveDrive Desktop exports, noticeable when the outing file export is long (e.g. 30 minutes or more). We are working on a fix for this issue.

Website says Pi Lite is free, but when I try to import an AliveDrive file from my SD card it says I don't have a license.

AliveDrive Desktop is provided free of charge to GM customers as part of the overall PDR system.

Cosworth's professional motorsport application, Pi Toolbox, provides an alternative approach for advanced users who are keen to see even more data. You don't have to use Pi Toolbox it’s just another option. As a customer with a PDR system, you are able to use Pi Toolbox Lite to open AliveDrive (PDR) outings and you will be able to see all the data. If you wish to also view the outing video (video stream without overlay) in Pi Toolbox, then you will have to take out a monthly/annual subscription to the 'Plus' version of Pi Toolbox. This is the message being shown regarding lack of license."

Yeah this worked great in the past, but now all you get is the video with no embedded data on it. I used to keep these in my car so I could quickly chuck the memory card into that, connect it to my phone and very quickly get the video with all the information on it. But it's not like that anymore.
Really disappointing....come on Chevy...do something about this...

I was able to install this version on Windows 10. I overlayed a 4.5GB 32 minute drive with both the Sport and Track overlays and it worked fine. My sound seems to be properly synchronized.
