I installed a new Valved Corsa Cat-Back Exhaust System on my 2024 HTC Z06, pretty easy straight forward install. After the install I did the valve relearn using my XTool diag scanner, it said successful but I later learned just because it says successful doesn't mean it was. I did a 10 minute test drive and everything seemed okay. The next morning I start the car and a check engine light is on, the diag scanner tells me the relearn is pending and I have two additional codes, P3175 and P3182 (Valve Position Performance). After trying several more times to do the relearn it just comes back as failed. Being curious I attached the valve motors back to the stock exhaust and connected them to the car, instantly after going into the cars diagnostic mode the relearn was done by the car without even connecting my diag scanner. Did anyone have this experience where an aftermarket exhaust valve will not relearn and throws these valve performance codes? Any feedback is appreciated.
*I have an email into Corsa, waiting for a response.

If the relearn worked on the stock exhaust, I'd lean towards an issue with the Corsa valves. Maybe they are sticky and not opening/closing fully or taking longer than the ECM is expecting. Have you checked the play in them versus stock to see how hard they are to move? Beyond that, I can't really help any as my Corsa took on the first valve relearn and has been trouble free for about 4,000 miles.
The valves seem to move freely, but I also think its an issue with the play in the valves. Something is telling the ECM the open and close positions are out of parameters. I think they are going to send me a new valved section.
I installed them back in the open position, since its spring loaded it kind of pulls the servo into the open position.
Thanks for the info. I reinstalled my stock exhaust with the valves in the open position and received various circuit and out of range errors and cannot relearn. Found a GM Techlink article for actuator replacements for CT4/CT5s and they hold the valves closed with a screwdriver or pick tool and then reinstall the valve motor. I was going to try that but if you're able to relearn with them installed in the open position, then I have another problem.

Thank you for stepping up. I bought the system from a Corsa vendor on eBay. I was able to work with Corsa directly to get the issue resolved. It was resolved by replacing the valved section of the exhaust. It seems the valves were the issue, I don't know if the valves were not opening and closing enough but that's what it seems like.

I appreciate the follow up. Out of curiosity do you still have your original corsa parts? Or did you send everything back? Was it the afm (before muffler) or npp (after muffler) valves that were giving you trouble?
