So my new C8 was being unloaded from a trailer today, and there is a called a deflector on the bottom of the car on both front corners in front of the wheel and behind the edges of the splitter looks like a black plastic box with a molded rubber piece attached to it well that got damaged during the unload so what does this do? What’s its purpose and what’s the best place to get a replacement for it if that’s what I need to do? I went to a dealer today and they don’t even seem to understand the part that I’m talking about so if you guys have any pictures of that deflector and a good source to get it that would be great.
Without a picture I am guessing the brake air duct covers. If they just got pulled off get some bigger washers and reinstall. I would replace only as a last resort since it is a part that gets beat up because of it's location.

Go to the link above, look at item number 18. May be what you are looking for. This is what is in front of the front tires.
Look at the first two part numbers for item 18, one for a Z51 (84965195) and one for a non Z51 (84965194).
You can take these part numbers to your dealer and he can confirm.
I put in for a 2024, but fairly certain they are the same for 2020 - 2026.
