Default Front brake bleeder

2024 Z51 Went to bleed/flush the brake fluid and I see both fronts have a bleeder on top (as expected on every other vehicle I have owned) but there is a second one at the bottom of the caliper.

Looked at a GM parts site and it shows a different PN for Left and Right

What is the purpose of the lower? And do I need to bleed from it also?

I always bleed from both. I bleed from the bottom first then the top. No technical reason. Will be doing this week in prep for track season (when the snow is gone).

You shouldn't need to bleed from a bottom bleeder. I don't have Z51 calipers in hand to look, but I'd imagine the calipers are likely being initially manufactured to be installable on both sides, and only become Left or Right only after additional mods on them (e.g. tapering-sized pistons, etc.) during manufacturing.
