It appears the Z07 package will offer more than previous generations making it possibly quite expensive. Will there be different levels of a Z07 package? Will some of the items be made available separately (CF Wheels, Active Aero, CCB’s...)? Your thoughts??
I believe, just based on previous gens and what we know about the C8Z, the Z07 package will include:
Carbon Ceramic brakes (certainty)
20/21 Pilot Sport Cup 2R Tires (certainty)
Stiffer Suspension
Larger, more aggressive spoiler/wing. (Potentially active)
More aggressive aero including front dive planes. (Have been spotted)
With the additional option of Carbon Fiber Wheels as a solo option likely requiring the Z07 to be selected. It won't become standard on the Z07 package due to the huge price increase that would come with it and the limited production capabilities of Carbon wheels.

I think as in previous generations, the buyer will be able to pick and choose options even among a Z07 package, (I believe it will be a Z08 package though).

I believe in the latest spy photos there was one z06 with cup2r’s but mounted on aluminum wheels. This to me indicates, hopefully, that the Z07 package will not include carbon wheels as standard to keep the cost down. I’m expecting the Z07 package to be spring, shock, swaybar tuning, full aero, Cup2R’s, and carbon ceramic brakes like the C7. Further, I’m hoping the carbon wheels are a separate option.

I think this is likely spot-on. I think they would be wise to offer a lightweight package or a couple of lightweight options as well. I would LOVE to see them offer a lighter weight seat as Porsche does ESPECIALLY if it can sit 1" lower in the car. Anyone 5'10+ with a helmet wouldn't mind more space.
Keep in mind, Z07 package was really an $11K option on the C7Z06 because the Z07 couldn't be added w/out atleast painted cf ground effects.
they can do away with the C/F ground effects as far as i am concerned. they cost too much to replace and for people that actually drive these cars, i almost consider them to be a wear item....i am not that good of a driver that the weight difference there will make an impact on my lap time....
I believe the poly wraps, bungee cord, and plastic wheel covers are included in the Special Introductory Edition, as a $15K option, so don't throw away the cardboard window coverings, as they will detract $8K from the sale price at B-J in 10 years....

Then comes the C10,remember it , The C8s not a corvette anymore, it's a EUROCAR at a 1/3 the price so they can market to the younger generation .Thank you Chevrolet ,what the hell you gonna do next, when guys start having problems with this one ,because it's gonna happen and it'll be the same thing all over again , history has a way of repeating it's self.
