Re-Alignment Required?
I believe many of the custom wheel options move the tire outward some. If the offset is changed, will that require a re-alignment?
I also imagine moving the wheel outward will increase the potential for rock chips on the sides of the vehicle.

Just moving the contact patch on the road surface outward does not actually change the numbers an alignment machine would read. {wheels, spacers,...}
But to get the most tire life out of a new set of tires, the alignment should be checked and set so each number read by the machine is in the center of the alignment tolerance.
